"Sort By" Options
We recognize that you might want to "sort" potential roommates using different criteria in order to find what you're looking for...that's why we make it easy to sort Matches and Search Results using a variety of sorting options!
Sorting Matches
We provide several "Sort By" options through the "Sort" drop-down menu on your Matches page:
- Newest First (sorts Matches from most recent Match to oldest Match)
- Lowest Rent (sorts Matches from lowest rent to highest rent)
- Earliest Move-In (sorts Matches from earliest move-in date to latest move-in date)
- Last Active (sorts Matches from most recently online to least recently online)
- Has Profile Photo (displays users with profile photos first)
If you are an "I need a room" user who has enabled the "Find a Place Together?" option, you will see an additional sorting option called "Show." This allows you to filter your Matches in order to display users who Need a Room, users who Have a Room, or All Matches (i.e. both Matches who Need a Room and Matches who Have a Room). If you choose to search without the "Find a place together?" option, you will not see the "Show" drop-down menu.
Sorting Search Results
In addition to "Sort" options for Matches, we also offer similar "Sort" options which enable you to easily organize Search results:
- Lowest Rent (sorts Search Results from lowest rent to highest rent)
- Earliest Move-In (sorts Search Results from earliest move-in date to latest move-in date)
- Last Active (sorts Search Results from most recently online to least recently online)
- Has Profile Photo (displays users with profile photos first)
