Change or Cancel an Upgraded Membership
We recognize that sometimes needs change, so we make it easy to cancel recurring monthly memberships and add more time to existing non-recurring memberships.
Canceling your recurring monthly membership
Please follow these steps to cancel your recurring $15.99 monthly membership:
- Login to your Roommates.com account.
- Click on your profile picture on the top right-hand corner of the page.
- Choose "Membership" from the drop-down.
- Click on "Cancel Membership."
- In the "Thinking of leaving us?" window that appears, click "Cancel Membership."
- Next, click "Yes, cancel VIP Membership."
Please note: only our monthly recurring $15.99 membership needs to be manually canceled using the steps outlined above. Our $5.99 3-day memberships, $19.99 30-day memberships, and our $29.99 60-day memberships are all non-recurring payments, so they do not rebill and automatically expire once the membership has ended.
Adding more time to your membership
Please follow these steps to make changes to your membership:
- Login to your Roommates.com account.
- Click on your circular profile picture on the top right-hand corner of the page.
- Choose "Membership" from the drop-down.
- Click on the "Extend Membership" option.
- Choose how much additional time you'd like from the list of options.
- Next, enter your card information and click "Secure Purchase" at the bottom to make your payment.
