Managing Your iOS Subscription

If you purchased a recurring Roommates.com membership through our iOS app using Apple Pay, please note that deleting or deactivating your Roommates.com account does not cancel your subscription. To prevent future charges, you’ll need to cancel directly through your Apple ID settings.

How to Cancel Your iOS Subscription


  1. Open your Settings app on your iPhone or iPad.
  2. Tap your Apple ID name at the top of the screen.
  3. Select Subscriptions.
  4. Find Roommates.com in the list.
  5. Tap Cancel Subscription to stop future billing.

Since payments made through the iOS app are processed directly by Apple, Roommates.com cannot issue refunds for these charges. However, you can request a refund directly from Apple:

Requesting a Refund from Apple


  1. Sign in at reportaproblem.apple.com.
  2. Tap or click "I'd like to," then choose "Request a refund."
  3. Choose the reason for your request, then select Next.
  4. Select the Roommates.com payment(s) you’d like refunded.
  5. Tap or click Submit.

Apple will review your request and notify you of the outcome. You can also cancel your subscription at this point if you no longer wish to continue.
